Our Lady of the Assumption is an active community with a programme of spiritual support services, parish-wide social events, and a diverse range of church groups; linked to St Brigids and the wider Southampton East pastoral area.

At KCC we offer a warm welcome to our lively Sunday meeting which starts at 10am and is followed by refreshments.

People from across the Solent region gather for contemporary worship, relevant bible teaching and youth and children’s work for all ages.

Other activities

Other activities during the week include lunch clubs for older people, youth clubs, student groups, the Hedge End Food Centre, a debt counselling service (CAP), a Job Club and the Junction Café.

We also run the Alpha course, toddler groups, connect groups and activity groups.

We are an open and welcoming fellowship with a variety of activities.

We are a small friendly church sharing joint pastorate with our sister church in Bitterne.

Sunday 10.30am – We meet for worship every Sunday when we sing well known hymns and songs and pray together as a Christian Community. Refreshments are served after the meeting.
